জমির খতিয়ান কি কত প্রকার ও কি কি? খতিয়ান কি? ব্যবসায় শিক্ষা শাখার ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের কাছে খতিয়ান মানে জাবেদা থেকে হিসাব সমূহকে শ্রেণী বিন্যাস করণ। তবে জায়গা জমির ক্ষেত্রে খতিয়ান অর্থ হইল ‘হিসাব’। মূলত জমির মালিকানা স্বত্ব রক্ষা ও রাজস্ব আদায়ের জন্য জরিপ বিভাগ কর্তৃক প্রতিটি মৌজার জমির এক বা একাধিক মালিকের নাম, পিতা বা স্বামীর নাম, ঠিকানা, দাগ নম্বর, ভূমির পরিমাণ, হিস্যা(অংশ), খাজনা ইত্যাদি বিবরণসহ যে ভূমি স্বত্ব প্রস্তুত করা হয় তাকে খতিয়ান বলে। খতিয়ান কত প্রকার ও কি কি: - বাংলাদেশে সাধারণত ৪ ধরণের খতিয়ান রয়েছে। যথা- ১. সি. এস খতিয়ান ২. এস. এ খতিয়ান ৩. আর. এস খতিয়ান ৪. বি. এস খতিয়ান / সিটি জরিপ বিস্তারিতঃ ১. সি. এস খতিয়ানঃ ১৯৪০ সালে ব্রিটিশ সরকার জরিপ করে যে খতিয়ান তৈরি করে তাকে সি. এস খতিয়ান বলা হয়। আমাদের দেশে এটিই প্রাথমিক খতিয়ান হিসাবে বিবেচিত। ২. এস. এ খতিয়ানঃ পাকিস্তান আমলে ১৯৫০ সালে রাষ্ট্রীয় অধিগ্রহণ ও প্রজাস্বত্ব আইনের চতুর্থ অধ্যায় এর ১৭ হতে ৩১ দ্বারা মতে ১৯৫৬-৬০ সালের দিকে যে খতিয়ান তৈরি করা হয় তাকে এস. এ (State Acquision) খতিয়ান বলে। ৩. আর. এস খতিয়ানঃ বাংলাদেশ
